Island Lumber now sells auto parts

Island Lumber and Hardware has stepped into the void left by Vashon Auto Parts’ closing and is stocking automotive essentials, including batteries, fluids, filters, light bulbs, wiper blades and an assortment of other accessories, according to a news release.

The store also has a hydraulic hose crimping machine and a full inventory of hose and fittings to match. Keeping heavy equipment customers in mind, their stock has been growing with hydraulic fluids, diesel engine specific motor oils and filters.

Island Lumber can also special order all of the same parts found in any automotive parts retailer with delivery the next business day.

The store is open seven days a week and is staffed with people who can help with all things automotive, from selecting the proper wiper blades to ordering a starter for a car.
