Jet City Improv will bring fast-paced, audience-interactive comedy to Vashon at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, at the Blue Heron.

Jet City’s performers improvise scenes, games and music based on audience suggestion. The result —  short sketches done in the spirit of “Saturday Night Live” — are sure to leave audiences in stiches, said organizers.

Mike Christensen and Andrew McMasters founded Wing-It Productions in 1996, which now produces Jet City and other shows, including benefits and corporate events. Jet City currently employs more than 30 regional and local comedy and music talents.

“The best improv I’ve seen in Seattle,” read a review of the group in the notoriously hard-to-please Seattle paper, The Stranger.

Tickets, $12/$15, are available now at the Blue Heron, Heron’s Nest, Vashon Bookshop, www.brownpapertickets.com and by calling 463-5131. A student discount price of $10 will be available at the door. The show is for all ages.
