Vashon Island-based trio Track 19 has released its first CD. Take a big dose of rock and roll. Pour in some Texas blues, some Gypsy jazz and some Muscle Shoals R&B. Wash it down with a slammin’ drummer, a wildly inventive guitarist and an in-the-pocket bassist.

These three veteran musicians, Bob “Rock” Kueker on bass, Phil “Eddy J” Johnson on drums and Rick “Trippa D” Doussett on guitar, are celebrating their first release on the Peloton Productions label on Wednesday, June 4, in the Columbia City Theater’s Hendrix Electric Lounge at 4916 Rainier Ave. in Seattle.

There will be no cover charge. The two-hour show starts at 8 p.m. For more information go to www.myspace.com/track19band, or call the theater at 723-0088.

A Vashon party is on tap for this summer, as is an appearance at the Strawberry Festival. The CD can be purchased at Island Music, or look for it online in June from iTunes, Napster, Rhapsody or Amazon.
