New Triumph plays the Bike

A Seattle band called The New Triumph will bring a mix of funk, Latin and jazz music to a free show at 8:30 p.m. Friday at Red Bicycle Bistro. The group is made up of six players who have also done time in such respected area bands as Picoso, Kore Ionz and The Polyrythmics. Camilo Estrada plays bass, Scott Morning blows a trumpet, Arie Pytel plays guitar, Adam Kessler drums, Marc Hagar plays keyboards and Ivan Galvez fills it all in with percussion. The band has played at venues all over Seattle and their songs have gotten radio play on KEXP, KBCS and Hollow Earth Radio.
