The free Concert in the Park series continues from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Ober Park with the band The Cumbieros.

The group is a Seattle-born, multi-national cumbia band made up of musicians from Chile, Brazil and North America. Cumbia is a genre of music and dance that originated in Colombia and is now popular across Latin America and features such instruments as violin, accordion, guiro, guitar and horns.

The Cumbieros fuse traditional and contemporary South American cumbia with the modern sounds of ska and rock to create fun, high-energy dancing music.
