Valise Gallery will hold a free discussion on “Arts in Community: How Cultural Democracy Can Flourish” from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 10, at the gallery. Beverly Naidus, artist, author and VALISE collective member, will lead the discussion. The talk coincides with VALISE’s current exhibition, “Vashon Jam/Slam/Glam All-Island Art Show,” a show that was open to all Islanders for participation.
