The Beachcomber’s article on the proliferation of sandwich-board signs states that a county employee apparently saw the column and “looked into” it. (“Proliferation of sandwich-board signs raises concerns,” Oct. 6.) Does this mean that the county is paying an employee to comb through The Beachcomber looking for references to apparent code violations?  Is Big Brother watching us?
