As the owners of Silverwood Gallery on Vashon for 16 years and artists ourselves, we were sad to hear about the recent censorship experienced by The Two Wall Gallery. It takes a lot of work, heart and energy to curate an art gallery and hang a compelling show, and we applaud the efforts of all the galleries on the Island to continually bring thought-provoking and engaging artwork to the Vashon community.
History shows there is always something that doesn’t appeal to certain individuals. Art thrives and endures nonetheless.
