I would like to alert my fellow neighbors on the south part of the Island that there have been a number of thefts in the last few months. A couple of chainsaws have been stolen, gas siphoned out of vehicles and packages and mail have been stolen from mailboxes. The mail thefts have occurred during the day. The other thefts happened at night. If you see a stranger walking down your driveway in the daytime, they may be checking out your place for something to steal. Put away your equipment and lock your house, shed and garage.  If you see someone walking down your driveway at 3 a.m. as we did, call the police.
