One group should set park district's budget | Letter to the Editor

At the Sept. 25 Vashon Park District meeting, it was expressed by the board of the park district that creating a budget for next year is really tough work, and that the VPD board would like the community to tell them where to make cuts and how to spend money.

Here’s a suggestion for Vashon: Let’s get a group of people together for this purpose. We could elect them every few years. We could give them legal authority to collect taxes and spend money.
