Andrew Schwarz’s meaningful comments about solidarity (Beachcomber, Letters to the Editor, Aug. 13) were well taken.

However, he lost some solidarity by claiming that Mark Goldman has a personal agenda.

In fact, Mark Goldman is not a man of denial, but a man of truth, loyalty, trustworthiness, sincerity, genuineness and honesty.

Schwarz should consider a meeting with Father Tryphon (of the All-Merciful Saviour Orthodox Monastery in Dockton) to learn to better understand the difference between denial and truth, that truth suggests conformity with facts or reality — and that the result will lead to a friendship between Andrew and Mark, one of the finest human beings I have ever known.

True friendship leads to a better world.
