I’ve noticed around the Island after the recent snows that the plows scraped many of the new reflectors off our roads. Some of them are still in good shape by the roadsides.

In the spirit of President Obama’s call to service, it would be great to learn how to reattach them securely so that we can see the roads better again — even though doing it ourselves probably breaks some county rules.

It would make a great service project for young people — and adults, too.
