Awards are for graduating high school students who demonstrate high achievement and dedication.

The Dr. Gary Koch Scholarship Fund is thankful for all of those who have contributed. Fundraising has been going well. The scholarship committee will be meeting shortly to assign the scholarship awards, so please consider donating soon. All amounts are appreciated.

The scholarship is to be given to a graduating senior — or seniors depending on the amount raised and administered as part of the Vashon Community Scholarship Foundation. Awards are for graduating high school students who demonstrate high achievement and dedication in any field of endeavor, with special consideration for students with broad interests. We felt this was a way to honor both the recipient and celebrate Dr. Koch’s years of service to our island. Full details about the scholarship are available at www.forvashon.org.

Donations can be made by sending a check to the Vashon Community Scholarship Foundation (or VCSF), PO Box 1413, Vashon, WA 98070 or online at vashonscholarshipfoundation.org. Indicate on the check or online form that it is to the Dr. Gary Koch Scholarship Fund.
