LETTER: Kudos to the Chamber

This is a big shout out to the Vashon Chamber of Commerce, Jim Marsh and everyone involved in creating yet another amazing Strawberry Festival.

We opened Gather Vashon in February, and since then it has been a colorful whirlwind of dazzling art, talented artists and great patrons.

Shortly after opening, we talked with Jim about moving Gather to the center of the green for Festival. We were thrilled to be able to share the work of 15 island artists with festival-goers. We had a marvelous time, met lots of new people and greeted many old friends.

Thank you to all who work so hard to bring this event to our community each year. And thanks to everyone who stopped by to see us. We look forward to welcoming you to Gather and to a new Festival tradition of Gather on the Green in the years to come.
