The band Rooster will play a show at 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Red Bike.

The group’s founders Rick Doussett (guitar/vox) and Ken Widmeyer (keys) are joined by Andy Doussett (bass/vox), along with Stephen Cooper (drums/vox). The group’s sound has been called a free range of rock, blues, pop, new wave, fusion, soul and funk from the 60s to the current music scene.

“Nothing seems to be off limits for these guys,” Pete Welch of Vashon Events said. “The group has rocked the last four Strawberry Festivals, several dates at the Red Bike as well as casuals and private parties.”

The free show is open to all ages until 11 p.m., then ages 21 and older only.
