Fisherman’s Village Music Festival, Debra Heesch and Vashon Events present The Island Tour with Star Anna and Spirit Award at 3 p.m. Sunday at Snapdragon Café.

The musicians will tour four islands in four days, stopping on Vashon to perform in a special, no-cover event.

Star Anna is a Pacific Northwest singer-songwriter whose music blends the rootsy sound of country with the edgy emotional honesty of rock ‘n’ roll. Mike McCready of Pearl Jam calls Star Anna “an American original. She sings from a place of beauty that takes me to a higher place.”

Spirit Award formed out of a desire to try to bring together the sounds of Krautrock, Psychedelic, Surf, Post-Punk and Pop. The three-piece band fills the stage with powerful sound, without relying on backing tracks. The group cites influences from Can, Kraftwork, Marc Bolan and New Order.
