Let these local humorists tickle your funny bone

Show starts at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, at the Red Bicycle Bistro Sushi.

Local jesters will take the stage for a night of grown-up comedy at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, at the Red Bicycle Bistro & Sushi.

The comedy show, hosted by Jim Farrell and headlined by Pearce Cobarr, will also boast appearances by Mik Kuhlman, Per Lars Blomgren, Steffon Moody, Cara Rosellini and Richard Moore. Expect new material from this collection of luminaries, who have performed stand-up and performance art on stages in New York, Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle and Vashon.

Cobarr, an award-winning comedy writer and entertainer, specializes in observational humor and storytelling, and most recently served as a judge for the famed Seattle International Comedy Competition finals.

Show organizers said the evening will contain some spicy material and urged audience members to leave their children at home.

“This comedy show is the perfect holiday gift to your adult, fun-loving, get-a-babysitter self,” they said in a press release.
