House of Waters, a New York-based band with a global sound drawing inspiration from Africa, India and South America, will play a show at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Katherine L White Hall.

Composed of virtuoso Max ZT, known as the Jimi Hendrix of the hammered dulcimer, master percussionist Ignacio Rivas Bixio and bassist Moto Fukushima, the innovative band has shared the stage with Ravi Shankar, Tinariwen, Jimmy Cliff, KODO, Dave Eggar and more.

The band’s unique style is a product of intense collaboration between expert musicians who take risks and whose music crosses genres — combining Afrobeat, rock, jazz and American folk traditions to create truly original music. House of Waters has also scored an Emmy Award-winning documentary for ESPN.

Tickets are sold at vashoncenterforthearts.org and VCA.
