Popular trio returns to the Red Bike

The Glenn Cannon Blues Trio, which made its debut performance at the Red Bike last September, will be back at 8:30 p.m. Friday for another show.

The band played good old rock ‘n’ roll to a packed audience last year and has returned due to popular demand. The trio will play covers from Robin Trower, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughn and more.

Glenn Cannon is lead guitar player and frontman for the group. His main Seattle band, Windowpane, is well known throughout the Northwest as a gritty rock ‘n’ roll band that’s been gaining popularity in the U.S. and Canada as a support act on international tours. Jeff Eason plays bass and sings in the blues trio and also performs with the bands Late September Dogs and Casualties Of God. Islander Wes Peterson plays drum kit for the group. He also performs with The Allison Shirk Band, The Cami Lundeen Band and other projects, such as the Skagit Valley Mafia, which includes Cannon.

The free show is open to all ages until 11 p.m., then ages 21 and older only.
