Reggae master returns to Red Bike

After a two-year absence, renowned reggae master Clinton Fearon and his Boogie Brown Band will return to the Red Bike at 9 p.m. Friday for another roots-reggae showstopper.

While Fearon’s music makes it hard for anyone not to move to its infectious beat, his songs also deliver a message that Fearon says is about helping the world to be a better place. On his website, Fearon writes: “I write (music) from my heart. The world is full of inspirations… nature, people, politics, love. I write about them all. My music is good for the soul – always with a message of hope and betterment for tomorrow. It’s good for dancing, good for listening and I think it’s good for all.”

Past Fearon shows have sold out, so Vashon Events recommends advance purchase of the $10 ticket, which can be made at brownpapertickets.com. The show is open to all ages until 11 p.m, then ages 21 and older only.
