Resistance Productions debuts with staged reading of Anne Frank

A staged reading of “The Diary of Anne Frank” by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett will be presented by the newly formed Resistance Productions, with sponsorship from Drama Dock, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 28, at Bethel Church. All proceeds will be donated to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).

Resistance Productions is the mutual brainchild of Chaim and Trudy Rosemarin and Elise Morill, all Drama Dock veterans. The trio wanted to create a smaller, more nimble entity, as an auxiliary to Drama Dock, to produce edgier, more contemporary and political plays that they feel are pertinent to the current administration. The cast of characters includes Alivia Jones as Anne Frank, along with many Drama Dock players. Chaim will direct the show.

Tickets are available for a suggested $10 donation at the door.
