Retro-chic trio will sing at Bike

The Curvettes — Arlette Moody, Stephanie Murray and Elaine Ott-Rocheford — will play a show at 8 p.m. Friday at the Red Bike.

Formerly known as the S Curves, the Curvettes joined forces in the summer of 2013 after performing at the “Swamp Bottom Jamboree” wearing cocktail dresses and hip waders.

Now, the group is backed by The Straightaways, with Steve Meyer on upright bass; Marshall Murray on drum kit; Andre Sapp on mandolin; ukulele and guitar; Christopher Overstreet playing a mix of classical and avant-garde piano; and Gary Milligan on horn.

The free show is open to all ages until 11 p.m., then ages 21 and older only.
