Known for its energetic performances, vocal harmonies and non-stop boogie, the Van Redeker Band will return to the Red Bike at 8:30 p.m. Friday.

The group — with Redeker on lead guitar; Sara Van Fleet on bass and vocals; Sam Van Fleet on guitar, harmonica and vocals and Dodd Johnson on drums —will play a set honed over three years of performing at the Bike, Vashon Center for the Arts and Strawberry Festival. The group’s shows have become community events, with dancing spilling out onto the street. They’ll play renditions of songs by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bonnie Raitt, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan and veteran songwriter Daryl Redeker.

This is an all-ages free event until 11 p.m., then ages 21 and older only.
