Hoopsters grab another win but miss playoffs by one loss

They started off well with a dominant win over Chimacum, but then took a road loss to a tough Eatonville team over the weekend.

By the end of the day, an impressive 17 were in the hunt for medals and a berth to the regional tournament this weekend in Castle Rock. Last year the team sent 13 to regionals.

Feb 05 2013, 12:33 PM The Jan. 30 issue of The Beachcomber included two letters to the editor that disagreed with an earlier letter by Jim Plihal, regarding interpretation of the Second Amendment, specifically the ability of the people to defend against tyranny. For clarification, John Williams (“Interpretation of amendment has strayed from its roots”) mistakenly claimed that Article II of the constitution is “also called the Second Amendment,” when, in fact, Article II creates the executive branch and is not an amendment at all.
