Following a recent $500 donation to the Vashon-Maury Community Food Bank, Puget Sound Energy is challenging Vashon residents bring in more at least 200 pounds of non-perishable food items for the food bank to give to local families in need this holiday season.

Donations will be accepted at PSE’s offices, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Those who make donations will have the opportunity to enter their name for a raffle of one of eight strands of LED holiday tree lights. The raffle drawing will be held Friday, Dec. 10, and the winners will be notified that evening.
