Wastemobile to take hazardous materials April 27 to 29

Islanders can disposed of hazardous materials for free at the King County Wastemobile when it visits Vashon from Friday, April 27 to Sunday, April 29.

The Wastemobile, which travels to communities around the county, accepts hazardous household materials such as old car batteries, oil and paint. For more information about the Wastemobile, including a complete list of acceptable materials and quantity limits, visit the Wastemobile website or call the Local Hazardous Waste Management's Program's Hazards Linea at 296-4692.

The Wastemobile will be at the Tjomsland Gravel Pit, 17001 107th Ave S.W., from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 27, to Sunday, April 29.
