Anti-domestic violence program gets funding from King County

DoVE, Vashon’s anti-domestic violence program, will receive $20,000 from King County next year, its first infusion of public dollars since it was founded in April 2011.

The line item in the county budget will help the small agency considerably, said Tavi Black, its director.

“It’s hugely significant,” she said. “We’re always teetering on the edge.”
