Movie Magic property sells

January 22, 2013 · 2:12 PM

Keith Bakker has purchased the property that used to house Movie Magic, a commercial site in Vashon town that has been on the market for several months.

Bakker, an islander who has worked in providing business support to franchises such as Dunkin Donuts, Baskin-Robbins and Burger King, said he probably will turn it into a café of some sort. It won’t become a franchise, he added.

Nothing will happen anytime soon, however, because of leases in place that last until April, he said.

“We’re kicking around some ideas. We’re still figuring it all out,” he said.
