A silver Mercedes sedan flipped over on Vashon Highway just north of the Judd Creek bridge at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29. The only passengers in the vehicle were the driver and a dog.

The driver of the vehicle is being transported by aid car to a hospital, and firefighters on the scene were unable to elaborate on his or her medical condition.

Firefighters were also unable to tell what caused the vehicle to flip.

A dozen career and volunteer firefighters responded to the accident, which closed traffic on Vashon Highway for more than a half hour.
