Council seeks Islanders for nominations panel

The Vashon-Maury Island Community Council is looking for three or four people to fill its board member nominating committee. The committee, headed by community council chair Jean Bosch, will be tasked with finding people to run for the council’s executive board in October.

Committee members will be responsible for providing information and applications to those interested in running for the board.

Bosch said any Islander over 18 is welcome to participate on the board. The council is also welcoming applications for the executive board. Contact Bosch at 919-5223 or jeanbosch@yahoo.com for more information.
