The Vashon Farmers Market opened for the season on Saturday with farmers, artisans and musicians all there. While the forecast for the day had been dismal, the weather was not bad at all, and a crowd came out to buy some of the early spring harvest, plant starts and more.

Now that the growing season is once again under way, the Farmers Market will be open every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Village Green.
