Palliative care workshop set for Saturday at VHS

The workshop, Unravelling the Mysteries of Palliative Care, will meet from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Vashon High School. It will feature three speakers — all experts in their fields — addressing end-of-life care for people as well as two veterinarians, who will discuss care for animals at the end of their lives.

This workshop is put on by the same group of island volunteers who organized last year’s four-day event, A Vashon Conversation for the Living About Dying. It is free and open to all people.

See this week’s commentary from Vicky Boyd and Carol Spangler for more information.
