Scouts lend a hand

Cub Scout Pack 275 recently made sack lunches and care packages for those in need.

Last week, 11 scouts from Cub Scout Pack 275 made 20 sack lunches and care packages for the Interfaith Council to Prevent Homelessness.

Each lunch included a hand-decorated lunch bag and a personal note from the scouts. Each care package included socks, hand sanitizers, toothbrush and toothpaste, tissues, gum and homemade lip balm.

The packages were delivered at the Friday evening dinner and were much appreciated by participants and volunteers. The project started with a brief talk by Nancy Vanderpool about the work of the council.
