Steven Wayne Fadness

Steven Wayne Fadness died June 2, 2016. He is known to many islanders for his cheerful, helpful presence. He was always ready to help a brother or sister find a meal, a place to stay, to give a ride or just lend an ear. A celebration of his life will be held at the Land Trust Building on Sunday, August 14, from 1-4 p.m. Please bring your memories and help us remember a wonderful man with music, stories, tears and laughter.

Steven was born September 5, 1948, and made Vashon his home for the past 15 years. He is survived by two sons, Steve and Chris, and four grandchildren. Picture his colorful Hawaiian hat, his older white Cadillac, his great dance moves. Steven was a spiritual seeker, dedicated to sharing his faith, love of life, rhythm and insights with others.

He touched many people. He will be missed.
