Tuesday night the Vashon High School boys basketball team beat the King's School, 58-53, in a second-round Tri-District playoff game, securing at least a fourth seed to the state tournament.

The Pirates will play Lynden Christian at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Montlake Terrace. The winner will advance to the Tri-District Championship game.
