Vashon rowers earn spots on selective national teams

Three high school rowers who attended highly selective national training camps held accross the nation were recently chosen to compete on national teams. 

Mia Croonquist was selected to row on the U.S. team at the World Rowing Junior Championships in Eaton, England, August 4 to 7.

Emmie and Charlotte Kehoe were selected to compete in different boats at the USRowing Club National Championships July 13 to 17, in Indianapolis, where they will have the opportunity to qualify for the CamAmMex Regatta. 

Coxswain Olivia Sayvetz also attended a national training camp but was not selected for the national team. She will participate in crew at Princeton University, where she will begin her studies in the fall.

Gus Magnusson participated in a prepratory West Coast training camp at the Seattle Rowing Center.
