On Monday, April 18, the Vashon High School boys' soccer team played Cascade Christian at Bonney Lake High School and came away with the win.

With one home game left, baseball sits atop league

The Vashon Pirate baseball team entered this week still undefeated in Nisqually League play with an impressive 9-0 league record. With just three games to go in the regular season, all it needs to do is win one of them to take the league championship. Results of Monday's home game with Seattle Christian were after press time.

Lacrosse team falls to rival Klahowya in close game

Vashon's high school boys' lacrosse team played Klahowya last Wednesday in an important league game. Klahowya is the league leader with Vashon in second. Vashon keeper Duncan McMillan is ranked second in the league with a 58 percent save rate, while Klahowya's keeper is first at 60 percent. Next best to them is a distant 42 percent.

The Vashon High School boys' soccer team has played four games in recent weeks, winning three and tying one.

VHS Baseball: Pirates lose a couple squeakers

The Vashon Pirate baseball team wrapped up a spring break road trip, losing two close games and emerging with a tie in extra innings. While still undefeated in Nisqually League play, the team's overall record sits at 7-3-1.
