Thank you, Vashon. For almost 15 years Vashon Island has supported American Hero Quilts. People have worked on making quilts, donating money and support in any way that was needed.

We recently sent out 320 quilts to wounded service men and women. We are close to delivery of 28,000 quilt. I can’t help but reflect that this would not be possible in most places. What a wonderful, generous place to live.
