I read The Beachcomber article “Naturopathic physician trading Vashon for Boise” (Sept. 27) with great distress. Then I spoke with realtor Emma Amiad to learn that there is a constant flood of others leaving. I understand the reasons for this: huge increases in rental costs and stagnant wages. However, none of the reasons that I know of are because folks are dissatisfied with the community in which they currently live. And some of the folks whom I know, I don’t want to lose. For this reason, I want us to come up with creative solutions as a community to save our community. I have some ideas. Call me.
