LETTERS: Postal service executives bear responsibility

Postal Service executives, with their ivory tower executive management perspective, seem quite willing to throw our hard-working, dedicated local postal employees under the mail truck for delays in adding staff.

Postal Service executives, with their ivory tower executive management perspective, seem quite willing to throw our hard-working, dedicated local postal employees under the mail truck for delays in adding staff.

Monitoring staffing needs and replacement actions is one of the “no-brainer” responsibilities of any executive management team. Why didn’t Postal Service management in Seattle see the need and take action? It is verydisappointing for the Postal Service spokesperson to try to shift all of the blame to our local staff.

Thank you to our local staff for your dedicated hard work under difficult circumstances. For the small percentage of customers who take out their frustrations on the staff, please take a deep breath and try to be more considerate.

If you want to take out your frustrations, please direct them to the Postal Service executive management in Seattle.
