Op-ed should have addressed concerns

Asking for accountability is not criticism.

It was with great dismay that I read Mr. Jenkel’s opinion piece (“Neighborcare criticisms do not serve island,” Nov. 1). Hilary Emmer brought up many valid and well-researched points, none of which he addressed. Many of us would have appreciated his answers to her concerns, instead of just dismissing her as wrong.

Asking for accountability is not criticism. And determining what is best for Vashon is subjective.
