Vashon-based trio Track 19 will play a free show at Red Bicycle Bistro & Sushi at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6.

The show is a release party for “Two Drink Minimum,” their first compact disc on the Peloton Productions label.

The three veteran musicians (Bob “Rock” Kueker on bass, Phil “Eddy J” Johnson on drums and Rick “Trippa D” Doussett on guitar) have honed their craft in the clubs and recording studios of Chicago, Bakersfield, Los Angeles, Seattle and points in between.

Band members have performed with the likes of Chuck Berry, Little Feat and REO Speedwagon.

Said Pete Welch, concert promoter, “The band’s blending of Texas blues, gypsy jazz, funky R&B and British Invasion, delivered by a slammin’ drummer, a wildly inventive guitarist, and an in-the-pocket bassist, makes for a unique and tasty sound that is much bigger than your typical three-piece band. It’s guaranteed to rock the house.”

Copies of “Two Drink Minimum” will be available at the show, or it can be purchased at Vashon Island Music.

The show is open to those 21 years and older; IDs will be checked.

A full dinner menu is available pre-show at the Red Bicycle, including sushi. For reservations, call 463-5959.
