Singer Dari Haffie and singer song-writer Lance Morgan have a quirky tradition, one they never planned. Out of four well-attended concerts, two have been on Friday the 13th. Call it coincidence or the luck of the draw, either way, they are slated for another free concert — once again — on Friday, Oct. 13, at 7 p.m. at the Havarat.

The couple will perform both originals and covers in their new show, “Humiliations Galore — Songs from the Pit of Despair,” with Haffie singing lead on most of the tunes and Morgan playing acoustic guitar. While some of the songs may be “sad and full of heartbreak, they’re pretty and lush with harmonies,” Morgan said, adding that he and Haffie will also ask the audience about a band name for the duo.

“We’re considering all sorts of names and our odd scheduling tendencies,” he said, “and that will be fun.”
