Snuff Redux, students to headline at Sharing the Stage

Snuff Redux, a Seattle band that includes former islander Daniel Chesney and Vashon Public Schools alumni Skyler Ford, will headline at Sharing the Stage, this year sponsored by Vashon Events, at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at the Red Bicycle Bistro & Sushi.

Snuff Redux is blowing up on the Seattle music scene following the release of their first full-length album, Denim American, last summer, receiving critical praise for its maturity and themes. The group was also a favorite at the Strawberry Festival last summer. The band was started by Chesney and Ford in 2013, after a period of struggling artistically and a dramatic change in their living situation. Opening for Snuff Redux will be student musicians from Vashon High School, performing their own original songs.

This event will be all-ages until 11 p.m. Tickets are $7 students, $12 adults and can be purchased online at vashonevents.com/support-us/snuff.
