Trolls Cottage returns to the Rock

Trolls Cottage, the band that loves the Island as much as the Island loves them, is coming back to perform at the Red Bicycle Bistro & Sushi at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9.

Trolls Cottage, the band that loves the Island as much as the Island loves them, is coming back to perform at the Red Bicycle Bistro & Sushi at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9.

After taking a seven-week hiatus this summer, Trolls Cottage is ready to return to the rock on which the group made its name. TC’s last visit to the Red Bicycle was last April, when they packed the room to capacity.

Summer is here, so with the blessings of Mother Nature, Saturday will be a warm evening where the garage door at the Red Bicycle will be wide open, and the danceable rhythms of TC will flow down the street in both directions.

This will be the Island release party for Trolls Cottage’s long-awaited CD titled “Let It Burn.” Pick the CD up at the show or through CD Baby at cdbaby. com/cd/trollscottage.

Opening for Trolls Cottage will be Sideways Reign, a band based out of Union, Wash. The group’s specialty is a genre-defying blend of rock, blues, folk and reggae.

The event is 21 and up, and IDs will be checked at the door. Cover is $8.

Due to the popularity of this band and their sold-out show last April, it is recommended to purchase tickets in advance either in person, at the venue or over the phone at 463-5959. Tickets will be available at the door unless the show is sold out.

The Red Bicycle Bistro & Sushi offers a full menu, a large selection of micro-brews on tap, bottle beers and cocktails.

Call ahead and make a reservation for dinner the night of the show.
