A humorous effort to get out the vote by Mik Kuhlman Productions has brought this trio of ducks to various locations on Vashon in recent weeks.

Kuhlman, a well-known island performer who has appeared throughout the pandemic in various elaborate costumes to remind islanders to practice such things as mask-wearing and human kindness, is currently strutting her stuff as a pro-voting duck, accompanied by Meghan Ames and Maria Glanz.

Wearing masks from Kuhlman’s collection that were originally used in a performance at the Oregon County Fair, and carrying signs created by Jemma Pereña, the trio appeared last week to cheer on voters dropping off their ballots outside the Vashon Library.
