Ferries

The Washington State Transportation Commission is asking ferry riders to join the Ferry Riders Opinion Group (FROG) before it sends out a survey asking for an evaluation of its summer performance.

Looking to hear from “as many people as possible,” Jerry Lit, chairman of the commission said in a press release that the more people that join and complete the survey, the more impact the input will have.

To join FROG, go to ferryridersopiniongroup.com and fill out the short form.

Roads

Starting today (Thursday), rumble “stripe” installation will begin on Vashon Highway between 210th Street and the north-end ferry terminal.

The work will require a lane restriction between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. The work is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, but is weather dependent.
