Andrine Corrine Olson

Andrine was an empathetic, kind soul, and she is deeply missed by those lucky enough to call her a friend.

Hailing from Seattle, Andrine lived on Vashon Island for the last 20 years down a dirt road as she would always say. She added to the flair of this authentic community with her own quirky ways.

Called “Deanie” or “Dreen” by many she 1st became a fan of Vashon through Don (Doc) and Pat Eastly, hometown favorites. She was not only a word wizard, perfumer, (Parfums Mouton Noir) and (Black Sheep) apothecary but also a lover of books and music, being a huge supporter of local bands.

In her professional career, she worked for many years at Boeing (Cafia focal) as a drafter/engineer. Andrine was a truly empathetic, kind soul whose children were her cats and chickens, and she is deeply missed by those lucky enough to call her a friend.

A celebration of her life will happen on the beach where she found the most peace.
