Georgia Milovsoroff

Born in Lombard, Ill on March 21, 1909, Georgia Milovsoroff lived for more than 50 years in Norwich, Vt., before coming to Seattle and then to Vashon to be near family. She lived a full life, touring with her husband Basil as a puppeteer in the early years, then a mother, homemaker, and part-time librarian at Dartmouth’s Baker Library. She died Feb. 15, 2008.

She never missed the daily walk or any chance activity that came her way. She was loved by all for her positive nature, her grace, and her delightful wit. For her, life was an adventure to be lived and relished.

Her family members remember her as a wonderful mother and lady. She was preceded in death by her husband, Basil Milovsoroff. She is survived by her son and daughter, Peter and Ann Milovsoroff, her daughter-in-law Linda Milovsoroff, and her three grandchildren, Colin Milovsoroff, and Teya and Lisa Rosenberg.

A life celebration service was held at Vashon Community Care Center on Monday, Feb. 25.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Vashon Community Care Center, 15333 Vashon Highway S.W., Vashon, WA 98070.
