For years, I have known Kelly Wright to be a conscientious, knowledgeable, deeply compassionate doctor of the highest integrity.

Anneli Fogt’s story on the lawsuit should have run on the opinion page, not as a straight news piece (“High school principal’s lawyer claims Wright suit is retaliation,” Feb. 8). Even the header is slanted. The thinly-veiled accusations of wrong-doing are particularly troubling.

As a longtime journalist, I ask that you do something to rectify this public misinformation.
